Event Details

New Mexico legislators introduced over 900 bills, memorials, and resolutions during the 54th Legislative Session.

The New Mexico Legislature considered high-profile bills such as legalization of recreational cannabis, a trust fund for early childhood education, a $300 million gas tax increase, and many more bills that affect members of New Mexico associations and nonprofits. Some bills died a very visibly following vigorous public debate, while other went out with a whimper, simply never being brought up for a vote or by getting buried in a committee.

Join your colleagues for a postmortem review of the legislative session, and start the discussion on items that will come back around next year. Find common items that we can all work together on during the interim to move forward your member's interests.
