The New Mexico Society of Association Executives is pleased to host our Fall Golf Clinic on Friday, September 9 from 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. at Marty Sanchez Links de Santa Fe. The registration fee includes golf balls and a golf club rental if needed.

The Clinic, a small group half-day lesson, will cover the basic fundamentals of golf, what to expect when playing, basic rules and how to get over the first hole jitters, as well as the very important grip, stance, and posture fundamentals. Participants will then work on the full swing with both an iron and a driver. From there, the Clinic will cover the "short game" -- including putting, chipping, and the short approach shot. Since our instructor also knows association professionals well, she has also promised to cover one of the most important aspects of the game...the 19th hole! (If you don’t know anything about the 19th hole, research it. It’s one of the more fun aspects of the game.) 

The Clinic will be led by Holly Spellman, who is an LPGA Level A teaching professional. Her dynamic teaching has improved the game of hundreds of golfers of all levels. Her golf training videos were selected by the LPGA to instruct future golf pros in Japan and Korea.

Holly is the Santa Fe Community College Golf Instructor and has been teaching all levels of golf since 2000. She teaches private lessons as well as clinics for women, men and youth at Marty Sanchez Links de Santa Fe in New Mexico.
